Haug: From an athlete’s point of view you think: oh man, that’s unwarranted. But I believe that no referee forgives such a thing lightly. There are rules you have to follow and I think it’s good that the rules are strictly enforced, because otherwise it’s just wake. But I would like for the future there to be clear guidelines for athletes and referees. Which is not a judgment, but really verifiable. That you know exactly what punishment you will receive for which offense. And that later you can see in black and white what mistake you made. It’s always a matter of judgment, and I find it difficult. I wish there were valid methods for measuring the distance of 12 meters in the future.
