Ukrainian singer Anna Sedokova, who recently married Latvian basketball player Jānis Timms, reveals that she will now be called Anna Timmas.
In an interview with Muz TV, Anna revealed that she had decided to accept her husband’s surname and that documents were being processed so that she could be officially called Anna Tim.
According to Sedokova, Jānis has said that Anna Timma is a typical Latvian name and surname, as if she had been born in Latvia.
Anna honestly revealed that the two got married because of the documents.
“To be honest, we decided to get married because we are tired of these borders. For example, as I am not his wife, I cannot fly to Riga with Jānis. But now I can! You can safely say that we got married because of the documents,” Sedokova said.
It should be noted that the couple’s wedding took place on September 6. Only Anna’s children Alina and Hector took part in the ceremony. As Timma promises, a big and grand wedding will definitely be held, but so far he has a career in the first place.
