Animal Crossing: New Horizons is a game that takes place in real time, closely resembling real-world events like seasons and weather. Just like in the real world, there is a northern hemisphere and a southern hemisphere in the game, June marking the change of season.
June offered players many in-game activities to participate in. For starters, many fish and insects have become available to start the summer season. The wedding season continues until the end of the month and players from the Northern Hemisphere recently had the chance to participate in the first Bug-Off. Those who missed the Bug-Off event, there will be others in the coming months.
Changes happen in the world of Animal Crossing: New Horizons every month. As July approaches, some insects and fish are about to leave the islands in both hemispheres. Some of these creatures will be gone for a while, so players still have a few days to catch them. We will list all the fish and insects that leave with June so you can sell them for Bells or give them to Blathers for the museum.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons Creatures Leaving the Northern Hemisphere After June
Those who enjoy the summer months, get your fishing rods and insect nets, because many creatures leave the islands of the northern hemisphere after this month.
Poisson
- Cherry salmon – Medium shade, sells for 1000 bells. Found in rivers and ponds atop a cliff from 4 p.m. to 9 a.m.
- Char- Medium shade, sells for 3800 bells. Found in rivers and ponds atop a cliff from 4 p.m. to 9 a.m.
Bugs
- Common butterfly – Found flying from 4 a.m. to 7 p.m., sells 160 bells.
- Yellow butterfly – Found flying from 4 a.m. to 7 p.m., sells 160 bells.
- Peacock Butterfly – Found flying by hybrid flowers from 4 a.m. to 7 p.m., sells 2,500 bells.
- Firefly – Found flying from 7 p.m. to 4 a.m., sold 300 bells.
- Ladybug – Found on flowers from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., sells 200 bells.
- Violin beetle – Found on tree stumps all day, sells 450 bells.
- Pill bug – Found when hitting rocks from 11 p.m. to 4 p.m., sells 250 bells.
- Millipede – Found by hitting rocks from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m., sold 300 bells.

Creatures leaving the southern hemisphere after June
Players with islands in the southern hemisphere can focus on maintaining their warmth and comfort during the winter months. Only one type of fish goes away.
Poisson
- Pike – Very large shade, sells for 1800 bells. Found in the river all day.
These are all the fish and insects that leave the two hemispheres after June. Be quick to catch them before they disappear, especially players who are experiencing the hot summer months in the Northern Hemisphere.
