Presidential candidate (capres) serial number 1 Anies Baswedan talk about the relationship between the state and the ulama. He hopes that relations between the state and the ulama will always be calm and calm.
This was conveyed by Anies Baswedan during a visit at the Al-Aziziyah Islamic Boarding School, West Lombok, Tuesday (19/12/2023). Anies initially spoke about the Indonesian nation’s efforts to achieve equality.
“We are making efforts so that there can be a more advanced Indonesia, a more equal Indonesia, and Muslims and community leaders who have an equal place. We no longer want tense relations between the state and the ulama, unfriendly relations. Instead, we must build an atmosphere “calm, calm and all are important parts of national life,” said Anies Baswedan in his speech.
The former Governor of DKI Jakarta asked for prayers from the residents present. Anies said the people of West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) want Indonesia to be better.
“Please pray for this message in this noble assembly, please give guidance, give advice so that the journey ahead will be easy and may Allah make it easier to live. We realize that the people of NTB are people who continuously want a better Indonesia,” he explained.
Anies also believes that NTB has great potential for development. He said the central government must pay sufficient attention to regional governments.
“NTB is a place that has great potential. Don’t let this place not develop because there is not enough attention from the central government. Because whatever I do, I have experienced being a regional head. A regional head can do extraordinary work if there is no support from the center, it will be very difficult grow and develop,” he said
“Today’s visit to NTB is quite short. Just one day, but God willing, the memories will last longer than just one day,” he added.
