The doses of the vaccine against Covid were finished in the Institute of Security and Social Services of Workers at the Service of the Powers of the State of Puebla (ISSSTEP), this was reported by some poblanos that they were waiting to receive the second application of the biological and that finally they were not able to receive it.
The attendees reported having arrived at the indicated time and, despite this, the staff of the Ministry of Welfare did not allow them to enter, arguing that there was no biological supply.
Some of them shared with El Sol de Puebla that they had arrived at 3:00 in the afternoon, and despite having been under the sun’s rays and enduring the inclement rain, at the edge of 6:00 in the afternoon they were told that they could no longer enter.
“We arrived from three o’clock, we were under the sun, then in the rain, we endured and respect our place and right now they tell us that there are no more vaccines, how can there not be vaccines?” Said one of the attendees.
To this voice was added that of Conny, a breast cancer patient who stressed that, due to his health condition, he cannot be exposed to certain changes in the weather, despite this he decided to wait even with the rain in the hope of receiving his dose, but it was not possible either.
“I am a breast cancer patient, and I cannot be exposing myself. Even so, I endured in the rain, I am soaked and now they tell me that there are no vaccines, that they are finished and that we cannot enter ”, she shared with this media with obvious annoyance.
Just like they, hundreds of poblanos expressed their annoyance They assured that they complied in time and form to receive the complete vaccination schedule, however, they did not apply the dose.
This medium requested the position of the Institute and, through the communication department, they reported that, despite the fact that they have enough biological to continue with the day, the staff of the Ministry of Welfare -who coordinates the first access filter- is the one who is not allowing people to enter.
They added that as an institution, they make available the personnel for vaccination as well as the facilities, however, the personnel of the Ministry of Welfare, is who is in charge of the income of the population.
