“For more than three decades, playing music and participating in people’s honors and celebrations, I have experienced various events in a very wide range of emotions – from curious situations to painful tears. Over time, they become folklorized, enriched with embellishments and turn almost into anecdotes. These stories deserve to be collected in order not to be lost and to give an opportunity to look at musicians as people – creative, musical and sincere,” said Andris Baltacis, the author and performer of the idea of the mono-performance.
