Not all players see it that way. Christoph Steinert (34, HC Erlangen) longs for the beats of DJ Kastening again. One thing is certain for him: “If Timo is back, he will make music again. Andi is very electronic. Timo always has classics from the 80s and 90s with him. I really like what Timo does.”
Wolff also didn’t hit the nerve of youngster Justus Fischer (20, TSV Hannover-Burgdorf) – but that’s less surprising. “For me, Andi clearly missed the point. I listen to Christmas songs all year round. “I also play Jingle Bells in the weight room in the summer,” says Fischer with a broad grin.

Whether Wolff is allowed to DJ again probably also depends on whether Kastening is back after his infection in time for the Croatia game on Wednesday (8.30 p.m., ARD and live at DYN/ad) will fit. Wolff’s choice of music was always successful.
Maybe there will be a big DHB DJ battle soon or a great cooperation between the two DHB top performers…
