field

Member of Commission VI DPR RI Andre Rosiade together with the President Director of Pertamina Patra Niaga, Alfian Nasution, directly checked the stock of subsidized diesel in Padang, West Sumatra (West Sumatra). As a result, Andre and Alfian saw the diesel queue starting to break down, but they still found trucks breaking and Pertalite type fuel purchased using jerry cans.

The inspection activity was held on Friday (1/4/2022) afternoon. Andre and Alfian visited a number of gas stations in Padang, West Sumatra, to check the stock of subsidized diesel.

“Today we went directly to the field with Pak Alfian as the President Director of Patra Niaga. What is the goal, we want to ensure the availability of subsidized diesel in West Sumatra, overcome the scarcity, because we know that in recent times diesel is scarce, causing very long queues,” said Andre told reporters.

“Alhamdulillah, with good communication Pertamina has instructed the sales area here to ensure this subsidized fuel is well distributed for the people of West Sumatra,” he added.

Andre said the diesel quota for West Sumatra had increased to above the normal quota. The member of the DPR for the West Sumatra electoral district said that Pertamina had promised to continue pouring subsidized diesel.

“At our request as members of the DPR RI representing West Sumatra, the current quota is above normal, an increase of 5 percent to 10 percent. Pertamina has promised that for the people of West Sumatra, subsidized diesel will continue to be issued, until there are no longer queues,” explained Andre.

Andre also warned Pertamina so that the spill of diesel supply to West Sumatra does not only occur during inspections. The chairman of the West Sumatra Gerindra DPD also asked the West Sumatra Provincial Government and law enforcement officials to also supervise so that hoarding does not occur.

“Don’t let Mr. Alfian and I return to Jakarta, it will be rare and queue again. He has promised that there will be no more queues. So, whatever the needs of the people of West Sumatra will be flooded by Pertamina. But of course with a note, Pertamina and law enforcement officers must work together -Together, we must ensure that there is no deviation from the diesel subsidy,” said Andre.

“Our hope is that the West Sumatra Provincial Government will also do the same thing. It’s not enough to just put up banners,” he continued.
