Andalusia MotoGP Start Position: Leading Quartararo, Rossi in the Top 5 Pages all

KOMPAS.comGP Andalusia which is the second series in the schedule series MotoGP 2020 will be held again at the Jerez Circuit on Sunday (07/26/2020) today.

Yamaha SRT Petronas racer, Fabio Quartararo, will start the race MotoGP Andalusia from the leading position.

Quartararo who last week won the Spanish Grand Prix successfully won the Andalusian Grand Prix pole position after recording the best time of 1 minute 37.007 seconds in the qualifying session.

Behind Quartararo, there is Maverick Vinales from the Yamaha Energy Monster team.

Just like in the Spanish GP, Vinales will again start from second position.

As for front row The Andalusian MotoGP 2020 is complemented by Francesco Bagnaia (Pramac Racing) who will start the race from third position.

The living legend of MotoGP, Valentino Rossi, successfully penetrated the top five MotoGP qualification Andalusia.

Rossi managed to carve a record of the best time of 1 minute 37.342 seconds and has the right to occupy the fourth start position.

That position is better than last week’s Spanish GP where Rossi had to start the race from the 11th grid.

Being in the second row at the start makes Rossi have a chance to achieve good results after previously he failed to finish at the Spanish GP.

Meanwhile, the fifth starting position will be occupied by Miguel Oliveira (Red Bull KTM Tech 3) and the sixth position is filled by teammate Fabio Quartararo at the Yamaha SRT Petronas, Franco Morbidelli.

Marc Marquez, who took part in the third free training session (FP3) and fourth (FP4) and the first qualification (Q1), decided to resign from the Andalusian MotoGP.

Marquez declared withdrawing from the Andalusian Grand Prix one day before the race or on Saturday (07/25/2020).

Marquez’s resignation makes it certain to lose points in the first two series MotoGP 2020. Previously, the six-time world premiere class champion failed to finish in the Spanish GP.

Entering the second series which will be held again at the Jerez Circuit, Fabio Quartararo still leads the MotoGP rider with a collection of 25 points, followed by Maverick Vinales in second place with 20 points.

The top three positions in the 2020 MotoGP standings are riders equipped by Andrea Dovizioso (Ducati) in third with 16 points.

The Andalusian MotoGP is scheduled to take place on Sunday (7/26/2020) starting at 19:00 WIB.
