The new covidpas, which will virtually expel unvaccinated people in France from public life, was approved by the Constitutional Council, the country’s highest judiciary, on Friday. The British station BBC informed about it.
People over the age of 16 will have to from Monday, January 24 to show confirmation of vaccinations if they want to enter a number of public spaces. The new law abolishes the possibility of proving a negative coronavirus test when entering establishments such as bars and restaurants.
The Constitutional Council has decided that the passport will not be required at political rallies and will cease to be valid as soon as it is no longer needed. French President Emmanuel Macron provoked outrage when he told Le Parisien in early January that he wanted to “upset” unvaccinated people by “limiting the availability of activities in society as much as possible.”
