Young player Real Madrid Édouard Camavinga has been associated with Arsenal. Real Madrid coach Charles Ancelotti stressed, Camavinga is not going anywhere.
Arsenal are reported to have conducted an examination of the situation of the 20-year-old midfielder. The Gunners plans to borrow Camavinga until the end of this season, despite having just signed Leandro Trossard from Brighton.
Meanwhile, Ancelotti has not involved Camavinga so much this season. The France international has only played 1,041 minutes in 26 games this season. Camavinga has only started five times in LaLiga and has only appeared an average of 40 minutes per game.
Ancelotti still relies more on players like Luka Modric, Toni Kroos and Federico Valverde. Even another young Madrid midfielder, Aurelien Tchouameni, is more trusted by the coach.
Nevertheless, Ancelotti closed the opportunity to leave Camavinga in the January transfer market. Coach the 63-year-old insists all of his players are untouchable, including Camavinga.
“This squad is untouchable,” he said Ancelotti Of Metro. “Not only [Modric dan Kroos]but other players who came onto the pitch and gave everything, as did [Dani] Ceballos give [Marco] Asensio [di Villarreal].”
“Modric and Kroos are untouchable, but that doesn’t mean they have to play every game,” continued the former Juventus, AC Milan, Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich coach.
“So [Camavinga] it’s untouchable, like Modric or Kroos.” Ancelotti.
