Innsbruck (OTS) – By Karin Leitner
An ÖVP chancellor, who scrutinizes judicial representatives, the casinos, the Eurofighter affair, the turquoise-blue cash reform, which brings not a plus but a minus. Greens, who cut back on their new role in terms of content in favor of the ÖVP. “Imposed” for the opposition SPÖ, with which it could politically kick again.
What is the red boss doing? It addresses itself – and with it the problems of its party. And even before the Vienna election, which is essential for the SPÖ. Last Friday Pamela Rendi-Wagner announced that she would also ask the “question of trust” when polling the members. Since then, there has been public debate about it.
The advance was not discussed. Colleagues were not only surprised, many are upset. Paul Stich, neo-foreman of the socialist youth, announced in the TT interview that he expressed the distrust of Rendi-Wagner; The party is “to be repositioned”.
The Traiskirchner SPÖ Mayor Andreas Babler and Andreas Schieder, head of the SPÖ delegation in the EU Parliament, who comes from the Viennese Red, also blame Rendi-Wagner coram publico. “Hacking and self-employment” are “nothing new” for them, says the party leader. What did she think? That they applaud the comrades for going it alone? That she soothes her critics?
From the beginning, Rendi-Wagner did not have it easy at the head of the SPÖ – due to a lack of political experience, power and authority. But she also lacks something that is necessary in this management role:
political flair. If it were there, she would have strategically exploited the Ibiza affair and its consequences, long ago told the Dornauers and Doskozils that they should take over the shop if they knew better how to run it. Rendi-Wagner can no longer decide on her departure. She threatens that the comrades will leave her.
