The magazine HELLO! completed his latest exclusive on the baby of Ana Obregon with his edition this week, in which, through an interview with the protagonist, he confirmed that the newborn is actually his granddaughter. Her name is Ana Sandra Lequio Obregón and she is the heiress of her son, Aless Lequio, who died of cancer in May 2020. “It was Aless’s last will, to bring her son into the world,” Ana told HELLO! “What has allowed me to continue living each day is fulfilling this mission,” she explained. According to Ana herself, the baby was born in Miami by surrogacy three weeks ahead of schedule, she weighed 3,500 kilograms, she is in perfect health and is legally her adoptive daughter.
During the interview, Obregón explains the details. “The decision to start the surrogacy process was made the day my child went to heaven. The same day”. And he added: “This cannot be doubted. If my son’s last will and testament was that, how can I not do it? If I swore that he was going to save him and I couldn’t save him, how can I not do what he wanted me to do? No one in the world can doubt that when a mother buries her son, she has to fulfill her last will.
