Between September 2019 and March 2020 in Andenne and Namur, Sébastien systematically attacked elderly and vulnerable people to receive money that was to be used to finance his consumption of alcohol and cocaine. He also sometimes stole them. “The victims were all born between 1928 and 1940”, said the Namur prosecutor’s office.
The accused was not lacking in imagination to achieve his ends. He regularly went door to door and pretended to be a BEP agent who gave the New Year’s gifts or someone who collected money for the children’s St-Nicolas, for example.
