an information day in Geric

Nearly 110,000 people from Lorraine work in Luxembourg and only half of them live in the Thionville basin. And that number has been growing steadily in recent years. It is for this audience that Geric is organizing a Border Day, this Saturday, November 13.

Called Lor & Lux, and proposed by the Association des frontaliers au Luxembourg (Afal), the meeting is at its 10e editing. At the heart of the Thionville shopping center, which has just celebrated its 50th anniversary, 30 stands around different themes will be brought together. All day long, these exhibitors, divided into seven poles, will answer questions posed by cross-border commuters in terms of taxation, mobility, employment, insurance, etc.

• Banking and insurance division: Assurances Bastian, Assurances consulting courtage SA, Harmonie mutuelle.

• Employment department: Frontaliers Grand-Est, Lip Luxembourg, Réflex RH.

• Transport pole: Agglomeration community – mobility, City of Thionville – Job mob.
