Significant traffic jams have formed on the A6 this Thursday since 3:15 p.m., following several road accidents, in the north of the Côte-d’Or department.
At 6 p.m., an accident involving three vehicles at kilometer 202 caused severe slowdowns after exit 22 for Avallon. Up to 6 km of traffic jams were recorded in the direction of Paris.
Another accident earlier in the afternoon in the area
Saturated traffic since the beginning of the afternoon on this portion of the A6. At 3.15 p.m., a damaged car, located on the emergency lane at kilometer 227 towards Lyon, slowed down traffic significantly, after exit 21 for Nitry, causing a traffic jam of about 9 km. The accident would not have injured anybody.
A traffic jam, nearly 5 km long, has also formed in the other direction, towards Paris, after exit 23 for Bierre-lès-Semur.
