An 18-year-old boy from Elche, in the ICU because of the COVID-19 outbreak during study trips to Mallorca | Radio Valencia

Most COVID-19 cases among young people have mild or asymptomatic symptoms. But this is not always the case, and there are cases that get complicated, such as that of an 18-year-old, who is admitted to the Intensive Care Unit of the General Hospital of Elche, in serious condition. He is one of those affected in the Valencian Community for the outbreak related to study trips to Mallorca.

The latest figure given by the Ministry of Health on this outbreak, estimated 67 confirmed cases. Elche was the first town from which positive for this outbreak were known, but there are also cases of coronavirus with the same origin in Xàtiva, Gandia, Castelló and Alicante.
