Two months after the raffle of the commercial value of the TP-01 presidential plane, President Andrés Manuel López Obrador He called on Mexicans to support the federal government in the purchase of raffle tickets for the luxurious aircraft, since only 22.5% of the 6 million “cachitos” have been sold.
“The call to all Mexicans: to help us, to support us, because what is going to be obtained from this raffle is to continue acquiring medical equipment, which is for humanitarian work. The government has a budget to buy equipment, we are doing it, there has been no lack of resources to buy equipment, to have the fans that are required, to hire staff, from where we must already have hired, in recent months, around of 50 thousand health workers.
“There is a budget because we reserve resources for health due to its importance, but we want more equipment and the presidential plane raffleFrom the beginning, prior to the pandemic, it had been established that the money would be used to purchase medical equipment. That those who can buy, buy a little piece of 500 pesos (…) people will -I’m sure- continue to buy the tickets, and we are going to sell them by September 15. “
In a press conference, the head of the Federal Executive thanked the support he has received from businessmen who have promised to buy these lottery tickets that will take place on the afternoon of September 15, Independence Day.
