Amir Tawfiq, director of the Contracting and Marketing Committee of Al-Ahly Club, confirmed the continuity of Walid Azzaro, the first team player in the Red Castle, denying that he was marketing in one of the Saudi League clubs.
Amir Tawfiq said in his statements to the Youth and Sports Radio: “Marketing Walid Azaru in Saudi Arabia or having offers for him? This is totally false, and Walid Azzaru continues with Al-Ahly very naturally.”
In his radio statements, Tawfiq added, praising the capabilities of Walid Azzaro, saying: “Azzaro is a great player and respectable player, and there is no evidence that we will market it abroad.”
It is noteworthy that several press reports had indicated earlier that Al-Ahly was on its way to market Walid Azzaro in Saudi Arabia, to be replaced by Omar Al-Soma in January, in order to support his offensive line.
Amir Tawfiq refused to disclose the position of negotiating with Elysee Belsing, a player for the Swiss Luzern, who earlier confirmed that Abdul-Hafeez, director of football at Al-Ahly, was among the candidates to join Al-Ahly.
