The LFP has communicated the final classification of this 2019-20 season in Ligue 1. Amiens and Toulouse are relegated to Ligue 2.
It’s official: the final classification of this 2019-20 Ligue 1 season has been communicated by the LFP. Applied according to the classification criteria established by a performance index taking into account the number of points scored on all the games played, this classification condemns Amiens and Toulouse. “The Board of Directors has decided to adopt the principle of two climbs and two descents between Ligue 1 and Ligue 2. The Board of Directors has decided to propose to the General Assembly to decide on the format of Ligue 2 and on the number of climbs and descents between Ligue 2 and National. ” The Nîmes Olympique finishes 18th.
