Amélie Wenger-Reymond and Stefan Matter won the Samoens sprint on Friday. The two Swiss take off in the general classification.
The day after her victory in classic, Amélie Wenger-Reymond confirmed by winning the sprint of Samoens. In neighboring France, the Sédunoise easily dominated the German Johanna Holzmann and the French Argéline Tan Bouquet. The Valaisanne consolidates its first place in the general classification and at the same time plucks the 144th victory of its career in 196 starts. Béatrice Zimermann finishes at the foot of the podium.

Full box for Stefan Matter. The Obwalden won the three competitions on the program in the French station. After the two classics, the Engelberg skier beat all competition to more than five seconds in this Friday’s sprint. His runner-up is Valaisan Nicolas Michel, while the Habs Elie Nabot completes the podium. Bastien Dayer takes 5th place. Gaetan Procureur is ranked 13th and Gaëtan Procureur 15th.
Stefan Matter is also consolidating his 1st place overall, he is now 91 points ahead of Bastien Dayer and 119 ahead of Nicolas Michel.
