AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D has already been tested

After all, there are now suitable BIOSes tuned for this new processor, as well as AMD Chipset drivers (version 4.03.03.624) to carry a certain AMD 3D V-Cache Performance Optimizer Driver. –

These are drivers for Windows 10 offered for some Gigabyte boards, and the authors of XanxoGaming used the Gigabyte AORUS Master X570 board with BIOS version F36C, 16 GB DDR4-3200 and RTX 3080 Ti just under dozens, ie probably those drivers as well. V Geekbench 5.4.4 however, it does not start just as famous with the results of 1639/10498 points, while the 5800X have an average of 1671 and 10339, so it is a slightly higher single-threaded, but lower multi-threaded performance. In the benchmark CPU-Z that’s then 617 and 6506 points, and that’s less in both cases compared to 5800X.-

Blender Benchmark shows 3 to 11 percent higher performance compared to 5800X and v Cinebench R23 that’s 1493 and 15060 points, while the 5800X in the single-threaded score reaches over 1600 points and in the multi-threaded rather slightly below 15000 points, but all this can vary by several hundred points depending on how we have the processor tuned.

The results of the tests did not sound very positive overall, but there have not been many of them yet and there are no games among them. But later the authors have to the article add even more results, including game tests in Full HD and also a comparison of performance with the Core i9-12900KF processor, so we can wait for that.
