The previous generation of Zen2 architecture Ryzen Threadripper has a maximum of 64 cores and 128 threads (3990X). It is guessed that the Zen3 generation will maintain the same configuration. However, due to the huge improvement of the Zen3 architecture itself, the x86 processor performance myth written by 3990X is expected to be rewritten again.
