Amber Heard’s Lawyers: The trial should be annulled
Documents filed with the court on Friday show that one of the jurors did not appear at the trial and was replaced by someone else.
On April 11, 2022, judge no. 15 was not a summoned person, and therefore was not part of the jury panel and could not properly serve the jury during this trial, the Amber Heard team of lawyers reported in court documents.
Lawyers added also that is a very disturbing thing factthat a previously unauthorized jury member ultimately participated in the trial, especially as high-profile and media-wide as this one.
Consequently, the trial of Ms Heard was not carried out properly. Under these circumstances, the trial must be annulled and a new one ordered, continued Amber Heard’s lawyers.
Earlier representatives Amber Heard concluded that the jury’s verdict in favor of Johnny Depp was not supported by any evidence. Recall that this Johnny Depp sued Amber Heard for defamation after her 2018 article on domestic violence in The Washington Post.
