“We are pleased that a logistics automation project of this scale will be implemented in Latvia. The project is being implemented in cooperation with the design company “AI ENGENEERING”, and in total it is planned to acquire more than 33 million euros during the project. In the first stage of construction, it is planned to acquire more than 24,000 square meters, creating automated warehouse order storage, assembly and issuance areas, as well as the administrative part.

The high shelf part of the automated warehouse does not provide for the location of employees and all processes will be provided without the direct presence of people. The total height of the warehouse will reach 24 meters, where pallets will be placed on top of each other on shelves on 9 floors.

The company’s current warehouse capacity is 25,000 pallet places, while the new warehouse will be able to store 35,000 pallets at a time, expanding the warehouse capacity to 45,000 pallet places if necessary. With the establishment of the new warehouse, it is planned to merge the three existing Amber Beverage Group warehouses in Riga, with the planned flow of the new warehouse reaching 360,000 processed pallets per year.
