Hyderabad: Ambati Rayudu, who retired from cricket and announced a political innings, has changed his mind. Rayudu’s sudden decision to join Jaganmohan Reddy’s YSR Congress and leave the party led to much speculation.
However, the actor announced that he is not joining other parties but returning to the cricket crease itself. Chennai Super Kings’ reliable midfielder will now play for Mumbai Indians in the IPL. But Rayudu will not be batting in the IPL but in the T20 tournament in the UAE for the Mumbai Indian Emirates team, the team of the Mumbai Indians.
Rayudu also announced through X that he left politics because those who are active in politics are banned from playing in the league. Apart from the IPL, Mumbai Indians have teams in the UAE League and the South African League under the names of MI Emirates and MI Cape Town.
