At a press conference in Tel Aviv, Korniychuk reportedly urged the Israeli government to back up support for Ukraine with military aid. In particular, according to him, Ukraine is interested in buying the Iron Dome system and the US will not object to such a deal.
It should be noted that the United States has been providing financial support to the Iron Dome project for about 10 years, allocating about $1.6 billion for its production and maintenance. The system is designed to intercept and destroy short-range missiles.
In addition, Korniychuk said that Israel had rejected a US request from Germany to supply Spike anti-tank missiles to Ukraine with an Israeli license.
