Amazonas took a while, but began announcing reinforcements for 2024 at the end of last year. This Wednesday (3), four more signings were made official. In total, 16 new players arrive at the club to compete in Series B, including some known to Minas Gerais fans.
Right-back Ezequiel, 30 years old, will play in Série B for the Amazonian club. Two-time Brazilian Cup champion with Cruzeiro, in 2017 and 2018, the player made 70 appearances and one goal for the celestial club. He also played for Criciúma, Fluminense, Bahia, Sport and others.
Another former Cruzeiro player signed by Amazonas is striker Laércio. He joined the Celeste team in 2018 to play for the under-20s and played two games for the main team.
América fans will meet former club players in Series B who were announced by Amazonas. Striker William Barbio and midfielder Eduardo Teixeira, who spent time at the club in 2016, and striker Rubens, revealed by Coelho in 2014, were announced by the Amazonians.
