The flood of spam emails on behalf of Amazon increases almost daily. It is usually not easy for the layperson to distinguish whether the e-mail is real or a fake. Only with the right knowledge is it possible to distinguish the scam from the real emails.
Now a new email from Amazon is making the rounds, which is causing confusion among users. The message with the subject “Your compensation for the temporarily reduced sales tax” is apparently coming from Amazon. The e-mail address behind the sender is unusual, however. Now the question is whether it is a real email or a fake.
