Amazon presented today, Thursday 28 October, new versions and experiences of Fire TV for Swedish consumers. Above all, the company introduces two new streaming units for the Swedish market. International versions of Fire TV Stick 4K Max and Fire TV Stick, a streaming device with full HD. Both units can now be pre-ordered from Amazon and will be delivered from 17 November.
Both units have support for English-language voice control with Alexa, this is the first time that Alexa is available on Fire TV units for customers in Sweden thanks to the included remote control Alexa Voice Remote. With Alexa, you can, with the help of your voice, start playing series, navigate, and pause and resume what you are watching. On the remote control, in addition to the option of voice control, you have access to shortcuts for, for example, Netflix, Prime Video and other apps.
The international versions of Fire TV Stick and Fire TV Stick 4K Max offer for the first time a personal user interface in Swedish. There you will find a simplified main menu where you can attach your favorite apps such as Netflix, Prime video or Swedish apps such as Discovery + and SVT Play, you can also create six different profiles so the whole family can take part in their individual recommendations, memory lists and more.
