An amazing and strange Nintendo emulator has appeared on Steam, which turns 2D games into 8bits on the console into amazing 3D games. This is called 3dSen, and it has two versions, one normal, and the other that is compatible with virtual reality (VR).
The project started five years ago, when it was known as 3DNes, and it was developed by Tran Vu Truc, who despite the complications finally launched the program and put it up for sale through Steam.
3dSen is an emulator for Nintendo, and only the program is available through the Valve platform, so you will have to get the roms on the other hand. This can play almost all games on the console, and You have the ability to return ‘3D’ to around 70 console games.
It is worth mentioning that this number of games is quite less in relation to the library that the console has, but according to what its creator announced in conversation with Kotaku, this is because it is very difficult to convert each of the games to 3D.
As he mentioned, “I often have a hard time fully understanding pixelated graphics in NES games,” adding that “They have a high level of abstraction, so sometimes it takes me a long time to fully understand what some graphic elements represent.”
