Amazfit Bip U, Huami’s new economic smartwatch is coming: images and specifications

It should be called Amazfit Bip U, according to latest rumors, the new Huami smartwatch that will arrive on international markets in the coming weeks.

In most cases Huami uses the Chinese market to launch its products but the English posters bode well for the possibility that the new smartwatch will be made available for Western markets.

The design is the classic ones of the Amazfit Bip series, but this time Huami should use a larger and more defined screen: we are talking about 1.43 inches with a resolution of 302 x 302 pixels. The weight is contained, 31 grams, but despite this the technical equipment would be of excellent quality.

Amazfit Bip U would be, according to the images you see below, able to record over 60 sports modes, information that suggests the presence of a GPS receiver, even if there is no certain information about it. What is certain is that the battery will have a capacity of 22 mAh, with an autonomy that should be around 9 days.

Other features include stress level monitoring, complete with breathing exercises for relaxation, resistance to diving up to 50 meters, 6-axis accelerometer, heart rate meter and Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity. The highlight, however, should be the detector of the blood oxygen level (SpO2), a function that is becoming more and more widespread on smartwatches and smart bands.

The size of Amazfit Bip U should stand at 40.9 x 35.5 x 11.4mm, with a polycarbonate case and 20mm silicone strap. The smartwatch will be controllable via the Zepp companion app. At the moment there is no information relating to the sale price, which should be lower than that of Amazfit Bip S. The presentation is expected for the end of October but a precise date is missing.
