After Mediapro adopted the name of Telefoot for its future channel, the TF1 group left favorite to manage the advertising of the new channel. It was ultimately Amaury Media, the management of the Amaury group, owner of L’Equipe, which won the channel’s advertising management, according to Le Figaro.
According to the daily, Mediapro organized a competition between different agencies. An agreement on the brand and antenna synergies was concluded in early June between TF1 and Mediapro (see archive)
