[Kanal Media Unpad] Alumnus of the Marine Science Study Program, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences, Padjadjaran University, Della Mariam Yolanda successfully won runner up in a national-scale marketing business competition held by Greenfields, last August 2023.
Della, who just graduated in August 2023, took part in the competition titled “Greenfields Extra Bootcamp Competition”. He is optimistic about participating in the competition.
In the release received by Kanal Media Unpad, Della succeeded in eliminating around 600 participants who registered and entered the top 10 contestants to compete directly in Jakarta.
In this competition, participants were faced with various case studies related to the marketing business, required to make marketing strategies, digital marketing content, and marketing campaign strategies. Each task is given in a very limited time, less than 3 days each participant must complete various tasks.
“This is a very extraordinary challenge, because here I am required to be creative, innovative, and work quickly,” said Della.
During the competition, participants received mentoring from a number of experts, such as Fiona Anjani Foebe as CMO from Greenfields and Fellexandro Ruby who was creativepreneur, writer and content creator.
Everything the participants did was judged by an excellent jury including Patrick Walujo as CEO of GOTO & Co-founder of NorthStar Group, Fiona Anjani Foebe Regional Chief Marketing Officer at Greenfields, and Ernest Prakarsa.
When entering the final round, Della had the opportunity to be interviewed directly about business and marketing by the CEO of GOTO & Co-founder of NorthStar Group (Pa Patrick Walujo).
“Happy but nervous, right when I was interviewed by the CEO. At that time, he asked me about my education and seemed surprised because I was majoring in maritime affairs but I was able to make it to the grand final,” said Della.
On the final night, Della won Runner-up in the Greenfields Extra Bootcamp Competition. Della received an award in the form of cash and the opportunity to do an internship at Greenfields/Northstar Group.
“Among the 10 participants who passed, only I came from a very different study program. I am proud of myself because I was a few steps behind but still able to catch up. Even though it wasn’t the 1st place but it became runner-up in this very prestigious competition is a very extraordinary achievement, “he concluded. (release)*
