Altach (APA) – Bundesliga soccer team SCR Altach officially welcomed new staff to the team on Tuesday at the start of the spring. As the table eight announced, the 19-year-old ÖFB youth team player Ogulcan Bekar, the two-time Swiss selection kicker Alain Wiss and the German Berkay Dabanli were signed. The latter two are 29 years old. Altach made no statements about the duration of the contract.
Attacking man Bekar comes from Vorarlberg, has been kicking in Salzburg since 2017 and at FC Liefering since last summer. A “very exciting, young striker with a lot of potential”, judged sports director Christian Möckel, who was lost on Monday loan from Mergim Berisha in Salzburg.
Wiss, who is at home in defensive midfield, was last signed with FC St. Gallen until the end of the year. Center-back Dabanli played 13 games in the first German league with 1. FC Nürnberg and also played for Bayer Leverkusen II, Rot-Weiß Erfurt and Chemnitzer FC. Most recently, he worked for Eskisehirspor in Turkey.
