Already in February, the show of mascot singers “Voice in a mask” will come to the audience.

At the end of January, the TV3 channel will start filming the third season of the musical show “Voice in the Mask”, in order to delight the audience with new and unusual masks, bright performances and enigmatic clues to reveal the carefully kept secret – “What is hiding under the mask?”

The musical show “Voice in a mask”, which has become the most watched show in Latvia in recent years, will come to TV3 viewers on February 26. By the way, by logging in at tv3.lv/balssmaska-skatitaji, viewers this year have an exclusive opportunity to apply for the filming of recordings.

In the new season, a ten-week long competition is expected – bright costumes, loud voices, diverse repertoire and unexpected surprises. The detectives of the show – Baiba Sipeniece-Gavare, Samanta Tīna, Jānis Krīvēns aka Krivenchy and Jānis Šipkēvics are already preparing for work for ten Sundays, but the participants of the show have started working on their performances to make the work of the detectives as difficult as possible.

Twelve public figures representing various occupations and professions will participate in the show. Each participant will perform in the guise of their unique character, performing a musical performance. The performance of the participants will be evaluated both by the audience in person and by a team of detectives who will try to discover what is hidden under the masks.

“We can neither confirm nor deny the information that there could be actors, chefs, athletes, musicians and maybe even a politician under the masks. It is clearly known that these are 12 people living in Latvia, who do not lack the courage to challenge themselves in singing, and also do not lack the positive excitement to get out of their comfort zone and indulge in this ten-week adventure,” the show’s producers Ilze Údre gives a little behind-the-scenes insight and Guntars Gulbins.
