He breaks his silence. FCL boss Bernhard Alpstaeg (74) speaks publicly for the first time since the turmoil on the board of directors that shook Central Switzerland last year.
–
Alpstaeg downplayed the theater on the board of directors opposite «Nau.ch». He says: “There are disagreements everywhere. The boys argued, doved. It used to be. That didn’t hurt. »

Not hurt? The “disagreements” in October triggered a real media quake. The shareholders quarreled in public. On the one hand Samih Sawiris, Marco Sieber and Hans Schmid – on the other Alpstaeg. The power struggle has escalated until ultimately all four shareholders have resigned from the Board of Directors. Today only Josef Bieri (10 percent of the shares) and President Philipp Studhalter sit on the board.

«Power, money, positions»
“It was not made public by me,” says Alpsateg towards Sawiris, Sieber and Schmid. «Unfortunately it got out of hand. We didn’t argue about Ferraris or cars – we argued about power, money and positions. »

Now you want to let the whole thing rest. For the benefit of the FCL. «It is currently okay and it will stay that way. There is a round table at which solutions are sought and solutions have already been found », explains Alpstaeg.
