The reason is, the female customer whose name is not known has just experienced an incident that almost cost her. He ate at a Middle Eastern restaurant in the Bukit Bintang area, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
After finishing eating, this woman pays the bill directly to the cashier. However, a suspicious incident occurred at the checkout.
This customer is known to want to pay by card. When the card has been swiped, he sees that the bill is very expensive. The payment was also successful with a bill that was entered for RM 98 (Rp. 340 thousand).
Seeing this, it was obvious that the female customers were starting to get suspicious. Because he knows that the original price will not be that expensive. Sure enough, the Middle Eastern restaurant was caught almost charging food prices to customers.
It is not known in detail the name of the restaurant and the food menu ordered by this customer. But he admitted that if meal bill it should only be RM29 or around IDR 98 thousand. If seen in the video, the Middle Eastern restaurant appears to be selling food like kebabs
“If you see the cashier in the middle, and you pay by card, please be careful and ask him to scan the card on the table,” said the customer.
In the next clip, this customer also reveals that he was almost hit by a price shock.
“Because at first I was almost lied to and I realized that if they put in a nominal RM98 when it should have been only RM29. And when we reprimanded them, they seemed confused and immediately returned our money in cash,” he continued.
With this incident, the customer asked other netizens to be careful. Always make sure to double check meal bill and the price of food so that something like this doesn’t happen.
Previously there was also a similar price-getok incident where customers had to pay for a simple menu of rice, fish and vegetables at a price of RM 71.50 (Rp 246 thousand).
