According to federal energy minister Tinne Van der Straeten (Groen), there are no more easy solutions. She now officially says for the first time that she is fully committed to the full nuclear phase-out. Keeping two nuclear power stations open “means that security of supply in the period 2025-2027 is not guaranteed,” she writes in her memorandum. But the coalition partners are left with questions.
