• Ajax, Atlético, Barcelona, Bayern, Benfica, Juventus, Man City, Paris, Porto and Real Madrid maintain the perfect record of participation in all nine editions of this competition, which began in 2013/14.

• Benfica beat Juventus on penalties in the 2022 semi-finals after losing the 2-0 lead in Nyon.
• Last season, both games between Atlético and Porto ended in an away win (1-2), and the win on Matchday 6 brought the Spanish side into the play-offs at the Portuguese’s expense.

• Real Madrid lead a group in which Shakhtar finished third in the 2021/22 season. Each team won at home when they met.
