BIRMINGHAM – Indonesian men’s doubles pass Mohammad Ahsan/Hendra Setiawan and Muhammad Shohibul Fikri/Bagas Maulana to the semifinals All England 2022. Amazingly, they both won over a pretty tough opponent.

Ahsan/Hendra defeated representatives of Denmark, Kim Astrup/Anders Skaarup Rasmussen, with a score of 21-15, 22-20. The match at the Utlita Arena, Birmingham, Friday (18/3/2022) night WIB, Ahsan / Hendra immediately stepped on the gas since the match began.

Without mercy, Ahsan / Hendra continued to bombard the Danish pair’s defenses mercilessly. As a result, Ahsan/Hendra won the first game, 21-15.

In the second game, Astrup/Rasmussen were able to develop their game well. Ahsan/Hendra also turned depressed.

But before the interval, Ahsan / Hendra again found an opening to launch an attack on the Danish pair. Calmly, Ahsan / Hendra were able to win the second game with a score of 22-20 and locked tickets to the semifinals.

Meanwhile, Fikri/Bagas defeated the Japanese pair, Takuro Hoki/Yugo Kobayashi, dramatically in the rubber game, 16-21, 21-16, 22-20.

Since the match started, Hoki/Kobayashi were able to suppress the representatives of Indonesia. This makes Fikri / Bagas carried away by the opponent’s game.

Despite being under pressure, Fikri/Bagas were slowly able to get a better rhythm of the game to catch up. Unfortunately, they failed to secure the first game, 16-21.

Fikri/Bagas played better in the second game. Fikri/Bagas were able to maintain their dominance to win the second game and forced the rubber game. They won the second game with a score of 21-16.
