AliExpress shipments from Konstantynów Łódzki will be delivered to Poland, but also to neighboring countries.
It is in this city, at ul. Niesięcin, a logistics center was opened.
As reported by the portal serwisoscihandlowe.pl, it is the largest such hub in Central and Eastern Europe. Its construction, carried out by Panattoni, began in the third quarter of last year and has just finished.
The warehouse has an area of 10,000 square meters. From here, parcels will be directed to Polish customers, but also to recipients from Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Germany and Austria.
AliExpress would like to start deliveries from the new center in Konstantynów Łódzki before November 11, when the website organizes Singles Day, i.e. very large promotions. During the sale, prices can then drop by up to 80 percent.
The financial benefits of the investment will certainly be enjoyed by Konstantynów Łódzki.
– So far we have already had revenues from the land tax, now they will increase by the tax on buildings – says the mayor Robert Jakubowski. – It is an important undertaking from the point of view of the city’s interests. We are also glad that our city is an attractive area for investors.
