The Latvian company Kesel Motorsport will see the BMW M4 project car, whose three-liter petrol engine capacity has been increased from 431 horsepower to 556 horsepower, maintaining the standard turbine and improving only the intake and exhaust system, as well as reprogramming the engine control unit. As a result, the BMW M4 has achieved impressive dynamics, especially at acceleration from 100 to 200 km / h – 6.65 seconds, an improvement of practically three seconds compared to the factory standard model.

Kesel Motorsport will also be showcasing the Nissan GT-R, which at first surprise the car was able to compete with the legendary Porsche 911 Turbo for half the price. As standard, the specific model develops around 500 hp depending on the version, but this six-cylinder turbocharged engine is very grateful for tuning and can increase its power to 800 hp without much effort.

Impressive racing car

The most visited car races in Latvia are drift championships. That’s why Auto Exotica will be able to see the most impressive projects of the 3B Motorsport and 3BMTS Auto workshops. One of them is the 750 hp Nissan 200sx (S13) prepared for this year’s season, with which Reinis Ozoliņš will also take part in international competitions.

The drift-ready BMW 1 Series will also be on display – this compact car is equipped with a Mercedes-Benz V12 engine with up to 550 hp. The authors of the project point out that a similar engine has been used in the construction of the supercar “Pagani Zonda”, therefore the roar of this drift car engine is just as impressive. Tom Jankovskis will start in the drift competition with it. With an unprecedentedly large exposition – 12 cars – in the section “Auto Exotica” will be represented the popular community of motoring enthusiasts “CC Nation”, which hosts the country’s largest open-air festival for car lovers in the summer. Lovers of the classic car will be able to appreciate the restored 50-year-old Jaguar Mark VIII four-door car. At the time, just over 6,000 units of this luxurious model were produced, and it is equipped with a 210-horsepower six-cylinder engine that allows this limousine to accelerate to the then impressive 180 km / h. This car will be available on the stand of the Latvian car buyers’ guide “WhatCar.lv”, where there will also be such sports vehicles as “Porsche 911 GT3” and “Toyota GR Yaris”.

The exhibition “Auto 2022” will feature several Baltic and Latvian car premieres. April 29 at 11.00 The Baltic premiere will be the supercar “Maserati MC20”, which was also chosen by the popular footballer David Beckham. On the first day of the exhibition at At 11.30, those interested are invited to the Baltic premieres of the Citroën C5 X, Citroën C5 Aircross, Citroën Ë-Berlingo and Citroën Ami. In turn, at 12.00 Two new ŠKODA electric cars will have their Baltic premiere: the Enyaq Coupé iV and the Fabia Monte Carlo. At the Mercedes-EQ exhibition, visitors will be able to see all of Mercedes-Benz’s latest electric cars, from EQA to EQS, of which EQE will be the latest news. Visitors to the Auto 2022 will also be able to see the new Jeep Grand Cherokee, Nissan’s new-era Ariya, Ford’s latest Mach-E modification, the Hyundai Nexo hydrogen and more.
