Urbanismo plans to create a network of electric stations in Alicante. At the moment the technicians have been commissioned drafting an ordinance to regulate the implementation of the retail fuel supply in the city.
The mayor of the area, Adrián Santos, assures that they will shortly begin the administrative procedure for the approval of the ordinance with which they also seek to give a push to the use of electric vehicles with the launch of this recharging network. To carry out the document, according to the mayor, they have tried to support ordinances in other cities but “none” of those consulted has one.
The ordinance will prioritize the security of the facilities, regulating locations and minimum distances with urban areas aware, according to Santos, that “we are evolving towards a more sustainable and ecological type of mobility” and to which the City Council wants to provide “all possible facilities” for citizens.
