AENA is reorganizing the facilities of its airports, dynamically and gradually, to adapt to the decrease in activity and the needs of the health emergency.
Currently in the Alicante-Elche Airport The boarding dock area is closed and it operates in 3/4 of the building with 8 boarding gates. In arrivals, only one area with two baggage reclaim belts is used.
Among other flights, continue to operate passenger return aircraft to their places of origin. This week a plane left for Oslo and Copenhagen chartered by the governments of Norway and Denmark.
There are also some daily flights with cargo freight and what is called “ambulance” flights with sanitary material.
The open Pharmacy and the Watertightas well as vending machines. They have closed three floors of the parking generatesl P1 and the long stay parking. The preferential parking remains open.
AENA is preparing with the Ministry of Transport the de-escalation in airport matters and it is expected that the first commercial flights to be launched will be domestic. Some companies are already offering flights on their websites since mid-May, although there are no dates yet to resume this activity.
