In the year of its 110th anniversary, Alfa Romeo has decided to bring the prestigious name back to the road GTA, combining it with the already aggressive Giulia Quadrifoglio. And so a few months ago the Arese house presented the Giulia GTA and the GTAm, a variant designed to measure itself against the track. After appearing at the 110th anniversary celebrations, Alfa Romeo’s aggressive new sedan was spotted at the end of August in Switzerland, where the GTAm version was the protagonist of an acceleration on the runway at Gstaad airport, during an event dedicated to supercars.
In the few seconds in which the Alfa Romeo Giulia GTAm released its power, it was possible to fully enjoy all the sound generated by the Ferrari-derived 2.9-liter V6, able in this case to deliver 540 cavalli, 30 HP more than the traditional and already stunning Giulia Quadrifoglio. In the other sequences of the clip that we propose, it is possible to take a more accurate look at the Giulia GTAm: its aggressive look is accentuated by a body kit that makes carbon fiber the main element, both inside and outside the cockpit. In addition to the impressive rear spoiler, the Giulia GTAm boasts an increased front track of 50 mm, specific 20 “wheels and one Akrapovic exhaust in titanium with central tubes integrated into the diffuser.

Inside the cockpit, the roll bar and the absence of the rear sofa help to accentuate the sporty look but above all allow to lower the overall weight which is 100 kg less than the Quadrifoglio. A detail that allows record-breaking performances, including a shot from 0 to 100 km / h in just 3.6 seconds.
