Alexandre Mattos Reforms Vasco’s Football Department with New Hires

In addition to being responsible for assembling the squad, Alexandre Mattos is reformulating the football department at Vasco. The executive agreed with Rodrigo Pelaipe, who will work alongside him and will be a kind of football supervisor.

Rodrigo worked with Alexandre Mattos at Athletico-PR as a football supervisor. He was also financial director at Ferroviária, in addition to having interned at Corinthians and Grêmio.

Graduated in administration, Rodrigo is the son of Paulo Pelaipe, a manager who played Vasco football under Alexandre Campello.

Rodrigo arrives at Vasco to strengthen the football department, which had several departures after the Brazilian Championship, including director Paulo Bracks, transition coordinator Carlos Brazil and supervisor Fabiano Lunz.

In addition to Rodrigo Pelaipe, Vasco agreed this Thursday to bring Rodrigo Dias back to direct the youth teams.
