Alex Reid launched a meteoric attack on his ex-wife Katie Price, claiming she had waged a horrific campaign of intimidation against him.
The veteran and MMA actor, who was married to Katie from 2010-2012, says he went to therapy after experiencing suicidal thoughts after being “horribly trolled” online.
The 45-year-old told Stephen Leng and Bobby Norris on FUBAR Radio: “For many years I hated the word celebrity because I don’t know about you Bobby, but it causes you to have so much negativity… I was horribly trolled, I mean, viciously. I mean, mine specifically by the hands of my ex-wife, who is even crazier, who runs an anti-trolling company. ”

Alex, who is expecting a baby with fiancee Nikki Manashe, then opened up about the action he took against Katie.
In 2019, he won the right to claim up to £ 250,000 from his ex after suing her for ‘spreading private information – some of it of a sexual nature’ after she allegedly showed a TV audience of 40 people an explicit clip of him off camera. .
She has been accused of showing a sexually explicit video of Alex to a live audience at Celebrity Big Brother’s Bit On The Side while the cameras were not rolling.
He said, “If it affects you to find work. This is how I saw it. That’s why I took action against my ex-wife. Because she said the most disgusting things about me. And it affected me to work continuously because people laughed at me.

“I have thick skin. I can laugh. I’m like, I’m an ex-parachutist, nothing is sacred. I don’t have a racist bone in my body, but you could joke your best dying boy. You know, and it might sound sick, but it’s kind of a psychological coping mechanism. But when it does affect your ability to work and also the children around you. I mean my brothers and nephews and nieces were getting intimidated, you know, and that’s not fair. ”
He added, “I just got diagnosed with something. And that explains a lot of things. I’m not going to say what it is. I am a scared cat and although I have had over 300 fights I have mixed with soldiers, terrorists I have been in the scariest situations I put on another personality so I can deal with that. So I’m tough, but really deep down there is a scared little boy who cries, screams, doesn’t want to be there.
“I have always felt different. I’ve always wanted to fit in. But when I got into it, I didn’t fit in. And now I understand why. And I took on all these appearances… a scared little boy, looking for love. ”

Alex said he looks forward to the day he doesn’t need to talk to Katie again, claiming he suffers from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) after everything he’s been through.
He said, “There is one more thing to come, a court case. After that, I never want to talk about this person in my life again.
“I have PTSD. I had an argument with my Mrs this morning about this. She said, ‘You haven’t been diagnosed.’ But I mean, I was literally reliving a situation. It was so serious. And she said, “What’s going on? And I couldn’t come back. And I was, ‘Oh yeah, sorry.’ But sometimes obviously I need a little therapy and obviously it’s kind of I’m not trying to do a ‘Poor me. Poor Alex, get out the violins. ”
