Only later, “groomed” by a colleague, does the boy realize who he has just sent away: the “VIP”, who in the hustle and bustle of the crowded restaurant had chosen anonymity, was none other than Alessandra Amoroso. It is at this point that the boy’s spontaneous reaction opens a surprising chapter in the story. Marziano, repentant, decides to recover and share the anecdote on TikTok by publicly apologizing to the singer in a video and inviting her to return to the club. «Alessandra, I’m sorry for sending you away. Unfortunately it was true that we were fully booked. Come back and I promise I’ll find you a table!”.
The happy ending
Surprisingly, Amoroso intercepts the video and welcomes the peace offer, accepting the invitation and booking for a second dinner, while rewarding the kindness and courage of the waiter. And so, last Wednesday 3 January, Marziano personally welcomed Amoroso and her boyfriend, finally guests of the club. The meeting was then documented on social media, particularly in Instagram stories. «I sent Alessandra Amoroso away, but then I invited her to come back – writes Marziano -. And she came back, but this time she had booked so there was a place for her: last night I served Alessandra Amoroso in the restaurant where I work.”
