The firefighters of Hérault, Aude and Pyrénées-Orientales call for vigilance between Monday 3 p.m. and Tuesday 6 a.m. Gusts of wind will sweep the coasts. Inland, the wind will blow strong from 10 a.m., in Aveyron, Tarn, Haute-Garonne, Hautes-Pyrénées, Ariège and Andorra.
Météo France has placed all these departments on yellow alert.
The strong wind warning relates to measurements expected at 90 or 100 km / h in Midi-Pyrénées with peaks at 110 or 120 km / h on the reliefs, Roussillon and Hérault. Peaks at 130km/h are possible on the coast or even 150km/h on the peaks of the Pyrenees. Also be careful at sea.
